With a background in accounting and finance, John has over 30 years of experience in the software industry and 20 years of experience in EPM product marketing at Hyperion Solutions, Oracle and Host Analytics. He has worked with many customers and partners on financial reporting and planning initiatives and has spoken and written on many topics in EPM. John has also held positions in strategic marketing and product marketing at Dun & Bradstreet Software, Kenan Systems, and Decisyon. John has a BS degree in accounting from Bentley University and an MBA from Boston College.
Lawrence Maisel, President, DecisionVu Group, Inc.
Lawrence Maisel is president of DecisionVu, a business advisory firm that assists companies with improving operating performance and business results. He applies his more than 30 years of experience, proven leadership skills, and expertise to drive bottom-line profits by improving performance management practices that include management reporting; budgeting and forecasting; strategic cost analysis; and operating process analytics. Most recently, he led the design and implementation of numerous projects to streamline reporting practices, as well as analyze operating processes and their activity costs, to improve quality and productivity, reduce cycle time, and deploy key performance measures across client companies. He has held management positions, including those of CEO and CFO. He has also held senior executive positions, including those with PeopleSoft and Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, as well as serving as Executive Partner in Charge of KPMG Consulting's Strategy and Financial Management Consulting Practice.
Brian T Kalish, Founder and Principal, Kalish Consulting
Brian Kalish has over 20 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Treasury and Investor Relations. Prior to joining AFP, he held a number of treasury and finance positions with the FHLB, Washington Mutual/JP Morgan, NRUCFC, Fifth Third and Fannie Mae.
In addition addition to Brian's robust consulting and advisory practice, he is available as a public speaker addressing many of the most topical issues facing Treasury and FP&A professionals today.
